Terms of Service

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use paid Services. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials confidential, and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.

Memberships, Purchases, and Billing

Prices, included content, billing frequency, renewal terms, cancellation options, and any refund policy will be disclosed at the point of purchase. By submitting payment information, you authorize the applicable charges and any recurring charges clearly described during checkout.

If you purchase a recurring membership, it will continue until canceled according to the instructions provided through your account or checkout provider. Canceling stops future renewal charges but does not automatically create a right to a refund for amounts already paid. Refunds, when available, are governed by the terms displayed at purchase and applicable law.

Course Access and Personal License

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, ElderAcademy grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access purchased or included course materials for your own learning and internal business use.

You may not copy, resell, sublicense, redistribute, publish, publicly display, share account access to, or create a competing product from paid course materials unless we give you written permission. You may apply ideas and skills learned through the Services to your own business.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share paid content or account credentials with people who have not purchased access.
• Record, scrape, download, reproduce, or distribute content except through features we expressly provide.
• Attempt to bypass security, gain unauthorized access, interfere with the Services, or introduce malicious code.
• Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or infringing activity.
• Harass others or disrupt any ElderAcademy community or support channel.
• Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, results, or relationship with ElderAcademy.

Educational Content and No Guaranteed Results

The Services provide general educational information about online business, marketing, advertising, lead generation, accounting fundamentals, course creation, and related subjects. They do not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, or financial advice, and they are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who understands your circumstances.

Business outcomes vary. We do not promise or guarantee revenue, profit, customers, business formation approval, tax treatment, advertising performance, or any other specific result. Your decisions, implementation, expenses, compliance, and results remain your responsibility.

Intellectual Property

The Services and their original content, including courses, videos, text, downloads, graphics, branding, site design, and instructional materials, are owned by or licensed to Elder Academy, LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license described above, no rights are transferred to you.

User Submissions and Community Areas

You retain ownership of content you submit. By posting content in a community or interactive area, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, reproduce, and use that content as needed to operate and improve the Services. You represent that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not violate another person's rights or applicable law.

We may remove submissions or restrict community access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms or protect users and the Services.

Third-Party Services

The Services may use or link to third-party platforms, tools, websites, payment processors, advertising services, and software. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, security, content, or practices. Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and fees.

Changes to the Services

We may update, replace, add, or remove course content and features as the subject matter, tools, and business environment change. We may also modify prices or membership offerings prospectively. Material purchase terms that apply to an existing transaction will be governed by the terms presented when that transaction was made, unless otherwise agreed or required by law.

Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, misuse the Services, or create risk for ElderAcademy or other users. Provisions that should reasonably survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and payment obligations, will continue to apply.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." ElderAcademy disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that content will always be current, complete, or suitable for your particular business.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elder Academy, LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to the Services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to ElderAcademy for the applicable Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Elder Academy, LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

General Terms

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any purchase terms presented at checkout, form the agreement between you and Elder Academy, LLC concerning the Services. If one provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our permission.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the date above. Continued use of the Services after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those Terms.
